How does it work?

The first step in brewing the perfect cup of coffee is to select your favorite variety: strong, medium, mild, flavored, decaf, and flavored decaf.

Then you simply open the brewer drawer, insert the unopened K-Cup, close the drawer and press the Green brew button. In just 30 seconds, you have your personal cup of Keurig Brewed™ coffee.

During the brewing process the K-Cup is punctured on the top and bottom allowing for a stream of hot water to pass through the ground coffee and cone shaped filter, and then through an
exit needle and into your drinking cup. Near the end of the brewing, you’ll hear an air purge which forces any excess coffee out of the K-Cup.
